WHITE BELT: SENSATION

Start your Nia journey here with the white belt, the art of sensation. Here you will be introduced to 13 fundamental principles that will allow you to become more mindful aware of sensations in your body.

GREEN BELT: TEACH

The next step in the Nia training is the Green Belt, which focuses on providing you with all the appropriate practices, mentoring and coaching. This training will help you to share your new found knowledge you have acquired with the White Belt Nia training.

Continue to your Nia training with the Nia Blue Belt: The Art of Communication. Here you will develop your foundations of sensations and awareness you created in Nia White Belt and learn to deeply connect to the world around you.

Brown Belt Training is where logic and mystery come together. It’s where perception of sensation, thinking, feeling, and intuition intersect and the door of conscious awareness opens up to the world of energy.

During your Black Belt Nia training, you will embody and harmonise all the knowledge and understanding you have developed throughout your Nia training journey. This stage is all about letting go of the know and entering the River of the Unknown.

First Degree Black Belt, the Art of Self is a profound step on the Nia Body + Life training journey. It is a training that celebrates you and your potential, inviting you to step beyond your excellence and into your genius.

Nia FreeDance is the ultimate conscious dance experience that celebrates and brings people closer to the source of their authentic dance, where body, emotions, mind and spirit unite to unlock creativity, and stimulate a sensation of aliveness and freedom. The training is designed for everybody.

Floorplay Nia training is a unique program that stimulates functional movement and self-healing by working with Nia principles and The Body’s Way philosophy. This training will guide you in achieving greater levels of strength, flexibility, mobility, agility, and stability by using targeted movement on the floor.

5 STAGES

The Five Stages Training takes a focused look at Nia’s integrative movement practice based on 5 developmental stages of the human experience, from embryonic to walking. When incorporated, these five movement stages have the power to holistically facilitate optimal alignment as well as improve function and comfort in the body.

Designed with the unifying theme of healing, the Nia Moving to Heal Training provides you with the knowledge and skills to receive therapeutic benefits from the moving practice of Nia and provides a roadmap for Nia Teachers who desire to share this work in healing communities.
